Что такое TC UP? Это улучшенная версия Total Commander 7 ( Copyright (c) 1993-2007 by Christian Ghisler). Пакет состоит из расширенных главного меню и панели инструментов, очень полезных дополнительных программ и плагинов, изменённой раскладки горячих клавиш и многого-многого другого. В Total Commander Ultima Prime 3.0 появился новый, более стабильный плеер KMPlayer, а ALLPlayer полностью удалён из пакета. Также, были добавлена новая утилита: TC UP ULTIMATE, - утилита, позволяющая быстро создавать ярлыки на программы и переназначать ассоциации файлов для включённых в TC UP программ. Модуль SynPlus был заменён плагином GSA Lister - благодаря ему, просмотр текстовых файлов теперь происходит значительно лучше.

This is an extended version of Total Commander 7 Copyright (c) 1993-2007 by Christian Ghisler. Total Commander Ultima Prime is a special distribution of Christian Ghisler's Total Commander with many useful third-party add-ons, plug-ins and customisations. It also contains extended main menu and toolbar, other programs, changed layout and other elements.
The newest version brings another installer's code changes. Since now it is possible to start TC UP with operating system. Because of false alerts provided by antivirus applications, TC UP is installed with safe mode, without any suspicious files. To install whole project's content users should choose "full installation" mode. The project has gained WinContig application for deframenting files purpose. Advanced users should be satisfy with excellent log viewer called Tail for Win32. The way of providing additional informations in customized columns has been corrected. Some applications (Free Download Manager 2.5 build 755, Opera@USB 9.26, VirtualDub 1.8.0, XnView 1.92.1, TC UP ULTIMATE 1.3) and Total Commander's plugins have been updated to the newest versions.

- Added "Unlocker" tool for removing files locked by operating system - thanks to Cedrick Collomb for agreement to add his application to project.
- Added the possibility to change files extensions associations with all TC UP programs during installation.

- "AIMP" has been updated to the newest version (2.50.247).
- "Miranda IM" has been updated to the newest version (0.8.0 alpha build #16 Unicode).

- "System Info for Windows" has been updated to the newest version (Build 2008-06-04).
- "Universal Extractor" has been updated to the newest version (1.6 BETA Virtual_ManPL MOD).

- Various plugins have been updated.

The help is available in English, German and French (separately).

July 31, 2008: Total Commander 7.04 is now available for download. This update mainly adds support for ZIP encryption, both the old ZIP2.0 format, and the new AES (advanced encryption standard) format. It also fixes errors found after the release of Total Commander 7.03, and adds some improvements to existing functions.

Total Commander - популярный файловый менеджер с практически всеми необходимыми для таких программ функциями. Для меня оказались очень удобными встроенные просмотрщики для мультимедиа и графических файлов, распаковщики ZIP, ARJ, LZH, RAR, UC2, TAR, GZ, CAB, ACE и дополнительные dll для других архивных файлов; встроенный ftp-клиент - просто прелесть: можно скачивать/закачивать файлы в несколько потоков, есть докачка, поддержка www-прокси при работе с ftp и есть даже такая функция, как подключение-скачивание-отключение в заданное время к заданному ftp. Не будут лишними и такие функции, как UUE/MIME/XXE кодирование/декодирование и разрезка/склейка длинных файлов, а также множество других функций, крайне необходимых для работы с файлами.
